On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, the event “Sowing Initiative Workshop: Chronic Pain and Vulnerability in Women” will take place at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, located at Praza do Obradoiro, 0, C.P. 15705. Organized by the Finnova Foundation, this workshop focuses on providing women in vulnerable situations, as well as people with chronic pain or mental health difficulties, with support networks and tools necessary for their labour market integration, self-employment, and entrepreneurship. This workshop is part of the Sowing Initiative project, funded by the Comprehensive Plan to Boost the Social Economy of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, with Next Generation EU funds. Its goal is to foster social entrepreneurship and women’s leadership as a pathway to inclusion, job creation, and resilient economic development. The event will feature the participation of experts in health and social inclusion, researchers and psychologists specialised in chronic pain from a gender perspective, as well as representatives from public institutions and third-sector organisations. Discussions will address current challenges and experiences in managing chronic pain, as well as community psychology programmes and employment guidance for vulnerable women. Opportunities for entrepreneurship in the social economy and access to European funding for health and innovation projects will also be explored. The workshop is aimed at women entrepreneurs, particularly those in vulnerable situations, unemployed people, young people, migrants, rural communities, social organisations, cooperatives, and professionals in the fields of health and inclusion. Participation is free of charge. Networking PAINLESS
